What Krishna advised to Yudhishtira...?

Episode#25

The Pandavas ruled Indraprastha successfully with all pride and glory. The subjects of Indraprastha insisted Yudhishtira to perform Rajasuya to ensure the title of Emperor, but Krishna advised him that he will be able to do so only when he defeats mighty Jarasandha of Magadha who has conquered many kings inclusive of Kshatriya kings, who were terrified of him.

Jarasandha army attacked Mathura for three times every time Krishna and his brother Balarama defended the city and led Yadavas to victory, after three years of fighting Krishna accepted the defeat and he left Mathura and moved to Dwaraka in West and built a new city.  The act of running away to Dwaraka earned Krishna the title of 'Ran-chor' so even if Duryodhana and Karna don't oppose you to be emperor, Jarasandha will definitely oppose for the title and only way to defeat him is to kill him.

Yudhishtira lost his nerves and felt diffident to wage a war with Jarasandha, he almost thought of abandoning the thought of winning the title of an emperor, but Arjuna and Bhima combined intelligence and resourcefulness convinced Yudhishtira that Bhima's strength, Krishna's wisdom and Arjuna's dexterity this unique combination they could easily defeat Jarasandha.

Krishna agreed that Jarasandha should be defeated even if he was not killed as he had illegally imprisoned many princes. He also said that he would gladly join Bhima and Arjuna and together slay Jarasandha and set those princes free.

Yudhishtira was far from pleased with Krishna's advise since he had an inherent fear of losing Bhima and Arjuna in the battle, he would rather not send them on this dangerous mission and totally drop idea of winning the emperor's title which as tantamount to be the King of the Kings.

Arjuna contested over a valid subject, he said "what is the use of our existence without heroic deeds? What is the use of being born as Kshatriya; we should lead an arduous life and do heroic deeds worthy of the tradition of our race." Krishna was delighted to hear Arjuna's noble thoughts and said "Death comes Kshatriya as well to commoners, but the noblest duty of Kshatriya is to be true to his race win glory and honor to his clan." On hearing Krishna's advice finally Yudhishtira agreed to wage the battle against Jarasandha.
