Mahabharata war - Day 15 Fall of Acharya Drona.

Episode#69 On the fifteenth day, the war did not cease even after the sunset but continued as mentioned before in Torchlight. The Kurukshetra field presented strange sight with burning torches - the generals and soldiers on both the sides we're engaged in battle, thousands of torches burnt and were used as signals, devised for night time. Ghatotkacha and his troops of demons (who are stronger at night) found darkness an additional advantage and violently attacked Duryodhana army. Duryodhana heart sank when he saw thousands of his men destroyed by Ghatotkacha and his demon army moving in the air and attacking in strange and unexpected ways. Episode#58 The fourth day battle was not dissimilar in any other way - replete with incessant killings and devastation. Yet the great war stands as the main central event in Mahabharata which played a pivotal role in comprehending the different aspects and dimensions of the great epic, it has enthralled a number of generations that followed them. At break of dawn, Pitamah re-arrayed the Kauravas regiment; being surrounded by Drona, Duryodhana and others, he appeared very radiant like Indra! Episode#39 After Pandavas lost their Kingdom in the dice game and were exiled, Balaram's wife Revathi was worried about her daughter alliance - Pandavas had lost their Kingdom and Abhimanyu was no longer a prince, just an commoner, they decided that Duryodhana son Laxmana Kumar was more ideally suited to Vatsala since he was a prince possessing a large kingdom. This they proposed Duryodhana to accept Vatsala as their daughter-in-law. Death of Bakasur and birth of Ghatotkacha

Episode#19 After escaping from the wax house, the Pandavas wandered from place to place like poor homeless Brahmins without food and shelter, the knew returning to Hastinapur was suicidal and hence they took shelter in the hut of a young Brahmin couple in the nearby village, they would live incognito till they empowered themselves sufficiently to combat the cruel conceited Kauravas. A huge demon named Bakasur who lived nearby the village and harassed the villagers. He had a voracious appetite and would gobble up animals, men, women and children. Finally, the villagers came to a settlement with Bakasur that every fortnight they will provide him food by turns, and the demon will eat the food as well as the Bullock and the delivery person too.
