Why Krishna kept Abhimanyu's knowledge of chakra-vyuh incomplete?

Episode#31

According to the conditions set, Pandavas had to live in the forest for twelve years and remain incognito for one year.

In the first year of exile, Arjuna went to Dwarka to meet Vasudev Krishna, he fell in love with Krishna's sister Subhadra.

Vasudev Krishna gladly relented to his wishes lest she marry Duryodhana (who according to Balarama was right choice). As planned by Vasudev Krishna, Arjuna kidnapped Subhadra and got married.

During exile, Bhima got a son Ghatokacha from his marriage to Hidimba while Arjuna married three women - Chitragandha, Ulupi and Subhadra. Draupadi accepted only Subhadra since she was Vasudev Krishna's sister but not the others.

During their exile, Subhadra stayed in Dwarka with her cousins and her son Abhimanyu grew up under the guidance of Vasudev Krishna and Balarama. However she could not forget her first love Duryodhana.

Every night she cried for him and every morning she waited for him remembered meeting him at the bank of Yamuna river, her request to Duryodhana for kidnapping her became prophetic as Arjuna had to kidnap her and got marry, she blames Duryodhana for not kidnapping her.

When Subhadra was pregnant with Abhimanyu, she often sat beside Arjuna as he discussed the art of archery, thus Abhimanyu mastered the art of archery while he was still in the womb by listening to his father's instructions.

As Arjuna was telling her how to break the formation (Chakra-vyuh) but not know how to come out. This event played a key role in the death of Abhimanyu sixteen years later.

Vasudev Krishna caused a deliberate intervention for two reasons, firstly, he knew Abhimanyu had demonic qualities, if he remained alive then he could destroy the armies of both Kauravas and Pandavas single handedly, hence he intervened and kept his knowledge of Chakra-vyuh incomplete - posing as the silent cause of his death.

The other reason was Vasudev Krishna knew how much Arjuna loved his son. Only the death of Abhimanyu would spur him to take the war personally and strive to battle with intense vigour and valour.
