Episode#50 Yudhishtira crossed the lines of armed soldiers, walked straight to Bhisma Pitamah, touched his feet and said humbly, "Pitamah permit us to fight this battle, unfortunately we dare to fight against you, our own unconquerable and incomparable Pitamah, but not without seeking your precious benediction!" Pitamah replied "Born in the Bharat-race, you have acted according to our code of conduct, go ahead and you will experience victory! I am however, bound by obligation to the throne of Hastinapur and I must fight for the Kauravas, but I assure you that you will not face defeat." Yudhishtira approached Guru Drona who blessed him saying "I and Aswasthama are morally bound to serve the King as he has provided us with food, shelter and basic amenities as per the norms. Spiritual conversation between Krishna and Arjuna

Episode#48 "I am confused Vasudev" replied Arjuna "If you are the Divine incarnation, you ought to define the pre-requisites of what is righteousness? If you are invincible, why create evil at all? Why create unrighteousness or blasphemy when you possess the power of creation and destruction? If unrighteousness is a mistake, then you are the supreme essence of the world and yet unrighteousness exists; it merely shows that you are imperfect!" Vasudev Krishna was amused to hear the plaints coming from a confused Arjuna! He smiled and replied "Pain and pleasure are the part of the natural rhythm of the world. A lion kills a deer; the lion righteousness is to kill and to eat, the righteousness of the deer is to run and escape. One does not exist without the other. I am Duryodhana and I am Arjuna. I am Yudhishtira and I am Sakuni. Righteousness and unrighteousness are different manifestation of the same energy. I do not bother about the fruits of any action....

Conversation between Krishna and Arjuna

You have to fight for justice; it is your duty as a Kshatriya" He continued "And where does this nobility come from? Is it generosity or fear; wisdom or ignorance or just cowardice?" Arjuna replied "Oh Vasudev Krishna how can my devotion to my guru be termed as cowardice? How can you deem my devotion to my grand uncle Bhisma Pitamah as an illusion? I can hear the cries of widows and children and my ears cannot bear those sound of wailing and weeping women! My heart tells me there is no need of this war, how can you designate me as a coward? I don't want to fight a war in which I no longer believe! Please try to understand me Vasudev Krishna." Krishna replied "Arjuna, you will bring shame to all the warriors by refusing to do your rightful duties as a Kshatriya. There is nothing greater for a Kshatriya...

When Duryodhana entered the battlefield in his chariot, his army received him with great cheer, filled with renewed enthusiasm; he surveyed the battlefield as far as his eyes could take him, the massive ocean of warriors stood spread-eagle on both the sides. He felt he was at the top of the world and with an air of victory when he twanged his bowstring, his army roared and responded jubilantly, Duryodhana was dazed with their abundant mirth and waved his hand with gratitude. He looked at the dedicated and extremely devoted masses of his people who were ready to lay their lives on the battlefield for their dear king. He would win the kingdom - but what would they ga...
