Gandhari intervenes - Arjuna challenges Karna...!

Episode#30 Gandhari enters Hall of Dice, and pleaded King Dhritarashtra to execute justice; she cautioned him that negative omens and spiteful curses coming from pious woman should not be connived as they may lead to downfall. It was Gandhari request and also the fear of retribution of Panchala made king Dhritarashtra inclined towards humanity, he told Draupadi to forget everything, he asked her for three wishes and he assured it will be fulfilled, Draupadi first wish was to free her five husbands and that they would no longer be slaves; second wish was to return their weapons back to them and with outstanding dignity she refused to avail third wish reminding that "a kashatriya lady is eligible to only two wishes and not more; and that her husbands were capable of gaining what they have lost in the game of dice." Episode#29 Pandavas as removed their uttariya, shawls and their arm-lets but Draupadi being in single cloth - ekvastra couldn't do the same! The lusty minded Dusshasana moved towards Draupadi, she tried to prevent her modesty, Karna remembered his insult in Swayamvara he passed a remark "she is no better than a prostitute - does it really matters whether she is dressed or naked for a woman who co-habits with five husbands at any given time, it hardly matters!" This rubbed further salt in her wounds and she screamed with pain and fury - "if ever my father King Drupada came to know about his daughter's humiliation, he will tear Hastinapur in pieces the very same moment!" Sakuni invites Yudhishtira to play dice and Draupadi uproar...!

Episode#28 Back in Hastinapur, the Kaurava as were dismayed at witnessing the glory of Pandavas! Sakuni planned a dice game wherein the dices were especially made from Jarasandha bones and played to his tunes. Yudhishtira loved playing dice but was not very proficient and was easily defeated by the deceitful Sakuni. The Pandavas lost everything they possessed including their wife Draupadi. Duryodhana laughed cruelly and ordered Dusshasana to drag Draupadi to the Dice hall, when Dusshasana crashed into her room, Draupadi was clad in a single clothe; he grabbed her by her loose hair and dragged her to Dice Hall, she tried to wrench free and run away, but she could not and he threw her on the floor in the presence of Dhritarashtra, Bhisma Pitamah, Drona, Kripa, Vidura, and Karna! Plan to kill Jarasandha

Episode#27 Vasudev Krishna had said that it would be futile to combat with Jarasandha's army rather he should be provoked for a single combat, as planned, Vasudev Krishna, Arjuna and Bhima entered his palace as brahmins - unarmed - and he welcomed them with due honor. Bhima and Arjuna chose to be quite to avoid any unforeseen complications; Vasudev Krishna clarified that they are observing 'maun-vrata' (silence) and would speak only after midnight. The scars on their hands made Jarasandha suspicious which were the marks of bowstring - suggestive that they were Kshatriyas? Episode#26 Bhrihadratha married the two daughters of King of Kashi with a solemn promise that he would honour them equally and keep both happy to the best of his ability. Unfortunately none of them bore any child but he kept his precious word and tired to be happy. When it was time for vanprasthashram (old king goes to forest with their wives leaving behind kingdom to their eldest son), he too left with his two wives he met sage Kaushika of Gautama family, after hearing his anguish of childlessness, the sage felt pity and offered him prasad of a ripe mango and blessed him telling to give it to his wife and his wish would be fulfilled. Adhering to his promise to make equal justice to his two wives he cut the mango into two pieces and gave them to eat. What Krishna advised to Yudhishtira...?

Episode#25 The Pandavas ruled Indraprastha successfully with all pride and glory. The subjects of Indraprastha insisted Yudhishtira to perform Rajasuya to ensure the title of Emperor, but Krishna advised him that he will be able to do so only when he defeats mighty Jarasandha of Magadha who has conquered many kings inclusive of Kshatriya kings, who were terrified of him. Jarasandha army attacked Mathura for three times every time Krishna and his brother Balarama defended the city and led Yadavas to victory, after three years of fighting Krishna accepted the defeat and he left Mathura and moved to Dwaraka in West and built a new city.  The act of running away to Dwaraka earned Krishna the title of 'Ran-chor' so even if Duryodhana and Karna don't oppose you to be emperor, Jarasandha will definitely oppose for the title and only way to defeat him is to kill him. Episode#24 After few years rolled by, when the kingdom of Indraprastha was ready, Pandavas started exporting and craftsmen to this new city. In this beautification process, however massive deforestation occurred and several inhabitants, especially the Nagas got killed in colossal numbers. Arjuna was cursed by the Naga King that his descendants will face death through a snake bite.
