Episode#41 The Royal Ordeals and Pre-preparations of swayamwara began in real earnest, invitations were sent to all the eligible Princes except the Yadavas Princes namely Abhimanyu and Samba - Laxmani, though heartbroken after hearing that Abhimanyu was married to Vatsala, she expected him to be present as she did not mind being his second wife, however, she refrained from confiding her love to her father. Episode#21 During Draupadi's Swayamwara, powerful Yadavas came in large numbers with Rich gifts to attend the marriage. The Pandavas were duly recognized that they are alive and now it was right time for them to return Hastinapur after having an additional female member in the family. Thus, Bhisma Pitamah advised Dhritarashtra to invite Pandavas to Hastinapur and offer them half kingdom as per the norms. Vidura also emphasised the necessity of doing so until more brides entered the home and divide the brothers. Dhritarashtra agreed to give them half the kingdom but it was a deceitful promise - he kept Hastinapur, the hereditary capital, for himself and his sons and he offered Pandavas the land known as 'Khandav-Prasth' which was fully covered with dense forests and swarming with ferocious wild animals, snakes and no human being dared to step in. Episode#10 Vichitravirya died without any children soon after marriage leaving Satyavati's dreams of her son's taking the throne of Hastinapur shattered into million pieces. The throne was left without any heir. She called Bhisma, absolved him from his vow and begged him to marry her daughter-in-laws but he refused, Satyavati left with no choice to beget children through her offspring Vyasa who was born before her marriage.
