Gandhari: My son Duryodhana was invincible...!

Episode#81 Gandhari says "I do not envy the victory of Pandavas and ibagree that my intense grief has robbed me of my understanding! These Pandavas also are my sons. Mahabharat War Day 16 - Fall of Dusshasana

Episode#70 The sixteenth day: After Drona died, the Kauravas Princes inducted Karna as the Commander-in-chief. Karna stood up in his gorgeous war-chariot driven by Salya. His dauntless confidence and his great warrior skills encouraged the Kauravas. Thus the battle began once again. Arjuna, supported by Bhima immediately behind his chariot, attacked Karna but Dusshasana sent shower of arrows at Bhima. Bhima chuckled to himself "I have this wretch now safe in my hands. I shall today redeem my promise to Draupadi. My oath has waited long enough for performance." As Bhima remembered what Dusshasana had done to Draupadi, the volcano of fury blazed up uncontrollably; he threw his weapons, jumped from his chariot and leapt upon Dusshasana like a tiger on its prey, he hurled him down with enormous force and broke his limbs. Mahabharata war - Day 9

Episode#63 On the Ninth day, before the battle began, Duryodhana was closeted with Bhisma Pitamah. He gave vent to his feelings of disappointment over the inconclusive manner in which the battle proceeded. His words were no less than piercing spears and pained Bhisma greatly but known for his equanimity, the latter was patient and said "Like ghee on the sacrificial fire I am pouring my life out for you. Why do you seek to mortify me, who has been doing the very utmost for you? You speak like a man of no understanding, not knowing what is right and what is wrong. You see things not in their original state - your vision is clouded...! You are now reaping the harvest of hatred you deliberately sowed. The only course left is to battle in the best possible way, by losing heart nothing is accomplished! Fight now as a Kshatriya should and the honour will be yours whatever the consequences!" Thus cheering Duryodhana and boosting his confidence with wise and affectionate words, Bhism...

Draupadi reliving her bitter memories...

Episode#52 (One year completed) Draupadi was reliving the bitter memories - she remembered Dusshasana callousness that had broken all the barriers of decency, he has grabbed her by the hair which was loose down to her waist and he dragged her all the way to the Hall of Dice, she tried to escape but he dragged her again by hair and threw her on the floor little caring to the elders who were seated there. She saw Bhisma Pitamah, Guru Drona, Kripa, Karna and many others, though present, neither of them raised a single finger to neither express their displeasure nor put an end to the outrageous happenings, they chose to glued to their seats with bowed heads and sealed lips. Draupadi, in a fit of scornful rage burst like a volcano - she turned to face the elders and questioned them "How can my husband ever use me as a pawn when he has already lose the game? Where is the righteousness of kshatriyas? If this is justice then how would you define injustice?" But her rational though...

Draupadi disrobed - Bhima wrathful pledge!

Episode#29 Pandavas as removed their uttariya, shawls and their arm-lets but Draupadi being in single cloth - ekvastra couldn't do the same! The lusty minded Dusshasana moved towards Draupadi, she tried to prevent her modesty, Karna remembered his insult in Swayamvara he passed a remark "she is no better than a prostitute - does it really matters whether she is dressed or naked for a woman who co-habits with five husbands at any given time, it hardly matters!" This rubbed further salt in her wounds and she screamed with pain and fury - "if ever my father King Drupada came to know about his daughter's humiliation, he will tear Hastinapur in pieces the very same moment!" Dusshasana snatched her sari and pulled it, Draupadi was getting stripped in front of all the elders and Noble kings but no one dare to stop such crime not even king Dhritarashtra. There was no one to help she thought of Krishna, he was the only one who will come for her rescue, she closed ...

Sakuni invites Yudhishtira to play dice and Draupadi uproar...!

Episode#28 Back in Hastinapur, the Kaurava as were dismayed at witnessing the glory of Pandavas! Sakuni planned a dice game wherein the dices were especially made from Jarasandha bones and played to his tunes. Yudhishtira loved playing dice but was not very proficient and was easily defeated by the deceitful Sakuni. The Pandavas lost everything they possessed including their wife Draupadi. Duryodhana laughed cruelly and ordered Dusshasana to drag Draupadi to the Dice hall, when Dusshasana crashed into her room, Draupadi was clad in a single clothe; he grabbed her by her loose hair and dragged her to Dice Hall, she tried to wrench free and run away, but she could not and he threw her on the floor in the presence of Dhritarashtra, Bhisma Pitamah, Drona, Kripa, Vidura, and Karna! She wiped her tears, arranged her clothes, brace herself and like a wounded tigress, she stood up, held her head high and said vehemently, "I am the daughter of King Drupada and daughter-in-law of renown...
